The Joint Fire Science Program (JFSP) delivers wildland fire science to help managers make informed, on-the-ground decisions. Since 1998, JFSP has supported applied research that tackles real-world challenges—from understanding fire behavior and ecosystem recovery to improving community preparedness and firefighter safety.
