Title: The Impact of Prescribed Fire and Season of Burn on Amphibian and Reptile Biodiversity Patterns in Northern Longleaf Ecosystem Restoration

Project Proposal Abstract: Research funded by this proposal will be key to 1) documenting the community composition of vertebate species in the longleaf ecosystem that are of global conservation concern (amphibians and reptiles; 2) determining how biodiversity responds to management (fire); and 3) defining key community metrics to aid in monitoring and restoration of the longleaf ecosyem.
