Title: Restoring Fire to Eastern Oak Forests: A Conference on the State of our Knowledge

Project Proposal Abstract: 1) Pool and synthesize the current state of fire/oak knowledge so that it is readily available for land managers involved in prescription writing, forest plan revisions, implementing burn plans, and related tasks. 2) Expose practitioners to research results and application techniques from another area may be applicable in their own. 3) Highlight what current research is underway. 4) Idendity knowledge and application gaps that need further research.
