Title: Cerro Grande Post-Fire Inventory and Analysis
Project Proposal Abstract: The objective of this research is to document and quantify soil erosion in relation to vegetation recovery following the Cerro Grande wildfire in Jemez Mountains, May 2000. This research integrates with the permanent vegetation and fuels inventory plots of Dr. Randy Balice (Los Alamos National Laboratory) and Dr. Brian Oswald (Stephen F. Austin State University) described in the master proposal "Cerro Grande Post-Fire Inventory and Analysis." Erosion ground plot data sets will be integrated with the remote imagery data sets described in the aforementioned proposal.
